A few years ago in a fit of xml induced irritation I got a bunch of other RAs together and we wrote the first version of Taverna. It was rubbish but you have to start somewhere :) If you're ever in Cambridge let me know and I'll show you the Taverna where we did the first rough design / drinking session.
