With a background experience in telecommunications as a project manager, I am now in charge of the developments for the bioinformatics platform GenOUEST (http://www.genouest.org).
The platform is part of the RENABI group (French bioinformatics platforms network) and is certified ISO 9001.
It is an open platform for biologists and bio-informaticians. All resources are completly free of use. It provides innovative web tools or interactive tools on our cluster. Several tools come from the IRISA research team Symbiose, and focus on interaction networks, motif/pattern discovery and search in DNA/protein sequences.
We also provide a bunch of bio banks on our cluster for tools access. Many are up-to-date copies of EBI but from many other providers too, help with the BioMAJ tool (http://biomaj.genouest.org). We also provide unique banks from the Biogenouest community.
