User: Aaron J. Windsor

Born in coastal New England, I shod-horses for the local Trabant-dealership until the age of 18. At that time, I immigrated to Quebec as an indentured-servant where I cleaned grease-traps in Montreal's premier poutine shoppe. Eventually finding myself destitute, jobless and unable to speak Quebecois-French properly, I took the natural course of action to preserve my sense of existential-angst ... I enrolled in graduate-school. After completing a PhD in molecular-genetics at McGill University, I had a five-year stint at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer chemische Oekologie in Jena, Germany, where I worked on the genetic basis of plant-insect interactions and developed genomics-tools for non-model brassicaceous species. This work was continued at Duke University during 2006 and I am now a researcher with Bayer BioScience NV (formally PGS of Jeff Schell fame)working on an entirely different set of questions.
