This group was stated for the discussion and the development of MyExperiment with WikiPeople.

A staging server with wikipeople can be found here although please note that this link will be broken as soon as WikiPeople becomes part of the conceptwiki and goes into production. (we will inform you and change the link iin the group summary)

The basis ideas under development at this point are:

1. Have a button in MyExperiment that allows people to upload their authorized page in Wikipeople to MyExperiment, which will automatically create the following items (developed in sequence, not all on day one of the first release).

* A fully automated (and later automatically updated) publication list connected to your MyExperiment Profile.

* A list of concepts of interest (derived from your publications) that can be managed (concepts deleted, concepts added) in WikiPeople

* A list of co-authors (candidate 'friends') to be invited.

2. Have views in WikiPeople (under +co-authors) in separate columns that shows whether a given person in that list has authorized its page, and whether that person is registered in MyExperiment (making the person contactable via MyExperiment.

3. Develop a matching algorithm to automatically suggest workflows, files, packs, groups and people of interest, based on accumulated concept profiles of these categories in MyExperiment. Each workflow, service from Bio-Catalogue and the like would have to be tagged. If a person registers for instance with 5 proteins and several proteomics related concepts in their profile, they would be presented with this list form Bio-Catalogue.
