The rufous-bellied eagle’s characteristic behaviour was observed at Sabaragamuwa Province in Gamthuna village in Kegalla District. Located close to Kegalle City limits, the village consists of three sub-villages. Udugama is the village at the highest point, in the middle is Medagama and at the lowest point is Pathagama.
