Site Announcement: EU Cookie Directive - myExperiment uses Google Analytics

Article 5(3) of the EU e-Privacy Directive requires that users have been informed about the use of cookies, the purpose that the cookie will be used for and the right to opt-out of the use of cookies. 

Like very many sites, myExperiment uses Google Analytics to monitor usage - we use this information to help deliver the service but for no other purposes.

Currently we do not have a mechanism for individuals to opt out of this monitoring.  Please contact us for further information and to express your views on this.  If appropriate we could turn off Google analytics.

Note we also set a session cookie on computers which is used to carry the “logged in” status from one page to the next, which is essential to the function of the site and not used for any other purpose.
